Hello to my fellow friends around the world, Finally, I have some time to update all of you. My trip to the UK was a great success and you will be happy to hear I have completed my 'Izzy sings Musicals' CD to be launched at the end of this year. All your suggestions were greatly appreciated and I hope I was able to sing atleast one from each of you. If not, there is always the next CD!!! So keep all your ideas coming. That includes all styles of music except of course my early days of head bagging - Heavy Metal!!! Hee Hee..... My new CD includes 15 tracks plus bonus and will take you to; 'West Side Story', 'Les Miserables', 'Beauty & the Beast', 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Cats', 'Evita', 'Phantom of the Opera', 'Aspects of Love', 'The Sound of Music', 'My Fair Lady' and finally my favourite; 'The Wizard of Oz'. Guess the songs? The bonus track is sung in Spanish and one very special song has been dedicated to a very dear dear singing friend from my university years at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama called Ovidiu Haidu. He sadly passed away in October and will be greatly missed. I love you Ovi. Now to inform you about my Christmas Special entitled 'Classical meets Contempory' on 17th December. I am in the throws of rehearsing with 4 great musicians in the South of Spain (Piano, Drums, Double Bass & Saxaphone/Flute). Music will include songs featured on my new album, classical arias featured on my previous albums, my famous rendition of 'My Love is like a Red Red Rose' frequently played on Classic FMTV and of course finishing in the Christmas Spirit. I am happy to report that next year I start to travel again. YES - my health has improved tremendously since I have lived here in Spain, and now it is time to fly my wings again! I set off for Rio (South America) on February 11th and will update you of my whereabouts around the world at the start of next year. Before I continue learning my songs, I would like to wish all of you a spectacular Christmas season and an even greater New Year. Through life we have our ups and our downs and I am sure you have all had your fair share this year. But if there is one thing I have learnt this year, it is that under all kinds of stress and pain it is possible to come through the other end, stronger and a little wiser. I believe if you follow your gut instinct you cant go wrong and on that note, I encourage you all to congratulate yourselves in succeeding in everything you have done this year and please look forward to exciting times in 2007. You are not alone, we are all working together to hopefully create value in our lives, families & communities. Thank you once again for all your sincere encouragement this year.
