Hello to all my fans!

I have just returned from Dubai from yet again another Cruise, this time however, the cruise ship specifically catered for the Japanese customers. I was officially the only Western performer on board which of course attracted a lot of attention! I have now accomplished a skilful bow and more importantly Japanese sentences to add to my ever-growing vocabulary!

I set off on my travels April 13th and arrived in Singapore the following day only to discover my luggage had not arrived. Sadly once arriving on the Asuka II to set sail for India, I was to learn that I would be without luggage for a whole week. Thank goodness I always travel with my musical Orchestrations in my hand luggage in aid of this ever happening: 'THE SHOW MUST GO ON!' But I was then faced with the challenge of seeking out a concert dress plus everything else one would need for a week. All I can say is thank heavens I was on a Japnese ship. The staff was full of compassion, behaved with great professionalism and were accommodating at all times. In fact they made every possible effort to make my stay on board the Asuka II extra special and I have to admit they succeeded beautifully. My concert sung in a Japanese style dress ran smoothly and my luggage eventually arrived in Mumbai a week later.

When you then discover India for the first time, it certainly puts things into perspective and you quickly learn how incredibly fortunate we all are. (Luggage or NO luggage) Life is wonderful compared to all the poverty that I witnessed paving the streets of Mumbai.

From Mumbai we sailed to Dubai where I disembarked. I cannot express how strong a contrast Singapore, Mumbai and Dubai is. From cleanliness and kindness to severe poverty yet rich with spirituality and finally extreme wealth hidden in the middle of a desert! Highly Educational!

I finally reached my home destination April 24th greeted always by a big beaming smile from my fiancée. It's the simple things in life that makes life worth living.

Until my next adventure, take good care and remember to ENJOY LIFE! :-)

Besitos siempre, Izzy x x x
