Izzy’s Christmas Singing Awards Fundraiser

Saturday 14th December

Bourne End Community Centre Hall, SL8 5SX

In support of

Big Thank You!

I find it incredible how much my annual Christmas singing fundraiser has grown over the years. In fact, over the past ten years, we have raised approximately £10,000 for the One Can Trust Homeless Charity. So, a BIG THANK YOU to all who have contributed!

We have now decided to change our charity to something a little closer to home and dear to our hearts! Our daughter Sophia was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition when she was seven and has a skin condition called Vitiligo. Therefore, we will be raising much needed funds for The Vitiligo Society. Being a small independent charity, they are struggling and Sophia is keen to help make a difference!

If you would like to donate something for a great cause this Christmas, you know we are eternally grateful. Every little bit helps and CAN make a difference.

What is Vitiligo?

Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition which affects the skin, resulting in white patches & hair turning white. Anyone – children & adults can get Vitiligo at any time. 20-35% are children and nearly 1% of the world’s population is affected. It is NOT contagious but can be difficult to hide as it can spread all over the body and at present there is NO known cure. Psychologically this can be devastating and have a huge impact on people’s lives, as sadly there is very little research funding to better understand the disease & develop new treatments.

A special thank you from Sophia 🙏🏻

Come Sing Along @ Izzy’s Christmas Fundraiser in aid of the ‘One Can Trust’.

It is that time of year again where I am busy preparing for my Christmas Singing Fundraiser Concert & Party, held at the Bourne End Community Centre Hall, Saturday 17th Dec.  We have raised nearly £3000 for ‘The One Can Trust’ Homeless Charity since the pandemic and will continue to raise more this year! My Music Theatre students have been invited to perform with all my private students and everybody is welcome to enjoy the show if they would like to come along and support such a worthy cause……It truly is a fun packed family festive musical event for all! 🙂

It would be sooooo lovely to see some of you there! I cannot believe the last time we did this was back in 2019 just before lockdown!

All donations truly appreciated.

Virtual Christmas Show

Saturday 12th December at 6pm

As you know, I am renowned for organising an Annual Charity Christmas Singing Event for all my students, normally held here in my village community centre hall. We raised nearly £300 last year for Parkinson’s.

Sadly, due to the restrictions we find ourselves in, we are unable to host a live event this year, but it does not stop us from recreating a show virtually via ZOOM and raise money for a good cause, especially at times like this. There will be guest judges (similar to last year) who will be offering their positive comments in between performances.

We will also hold a technical rehearsal in the morning @ 10:30am. This will be a very relaxed festive and fun filled family experience.

I would love us all to dress up, decorate our backgrounds and prepare a festive picnic for the occasion. I would also encourage all of you to invite your nearest and dearest online to enjoy the kids and support this amazing cause.

I have chosen ‘One Can Trust’ a local charity working hard to feed the homeless – they will certainly need all our support during the Christmas Season especially during this pandemic. Will you join me and help make a difference this year? I willingly put myself forward to sing something and shall be inviting my dear mother & step father from Spain to join us.

I am asking each household who joins the Zoom Performance to contribute £10 (click here for details) but should you wish to contribute more this would be incredible. My goal this year is £500 that’s 50 households! I believe we can do it, do you?
